Crowns
If you can’t find the crown or a veneer, don’t panic, a new one can be made and applied to the tooth. Any exposed tooth will be more sensitive to hot and cold foods. To minimise this a crown should be replaced immediately. A dentist will be able to re-apply a lost crown to your tooth if the crown is still in good condition.
Veneers
These are very thin shells of porcelain or ceramic that are customised and directly bonded to the front surfaces of your teeth. If they fall off or are damaged, we will assess the damage and we can repair or replace them for you.
Implants
An implant is an artificial tooth where the base of the implant structure is made of titanium, which is attached to the jaw bone. After a few months, the implant fuses with the bone, to replicate a tooth.
Bleeding or discomfort may occur, this could lead to severe pain developing, to reduce significant problems that will potentially require additional work, it’s best to seek professional help and advice to avoid further issues.
